they met at their church in santa barbara. they bonded over spreading the word about upcoming game nights and camping trips as the announcement-making duo for their college group. naturally, sparks flew and they begin sharing sushi and cups of coffee and nights in watching friends and eating pizza. they found themselves getting lost in conversation about life, about goals and dreams, about their relationships with the Lord, and about shared experiences to chicago and oregon, new hampshire and the california coast. their bond strengthened and grew into complete adoration and love for each other. their relationship became something that was rooted and established in love. one that is relaxed, authentic, and often times full of hilarity and silly-ness. and now they are set to be married later this fall. and i for one can’t wait.

she is tiffany, and he is dave. she is his beloved, and he is hers. and this is their story…
we ventured up the coast to find us some fields, oak trees and such. tiffany’s best friend dannah just so happens to be a hair stylist and make-up artist and a dear friend of mine. so she did her thang and then came along with us to help out and make them (and me) laugh. it was a blast.

here’s what happened when i asked them to be all sorts of dramatic and stoic. haha.

but practice makes perfect…

oak trees + backlight = epic photo goodness

i love it when my clients humor me and scale rocks and lay in down on uncomfortable surfaces to get the shot.
one of my favorite pairings from the day…

a slideshow of their beloved session can be viewed at their wedding website here.
