Hello everyone. Today’s post is a bit of a rare treat since it’s written by Isaac–my witty, talented and funny other half. You see, the featured bride-to-be is one of his very best of friends, so I thought it fitting that he write the post and share with you their Beloved session. While, we will both be shooting their wedding together in February, he spent some one-on-one time with the happy couple down in Long Beach and captured them beautifully. We are both thrilled to share this series with you! Special thanks to Daryl Manese for wardrobe styling.  And with out further ado, here’s Isaac…

One year ago today my best friend went on a date with the man she would spend the rest of her life with. I remember Ashley talking about how she ditched dance class because she wanted to look cute for this one! I met Freddy just said date, and by just after I mean right after. You see, after their date Ashley and Freddy met up with me and Shea (one of my other best girlfriends) to see a concert Ashley’s mother was singing in. That’s right! On their first date Freddy met BOTH Ashley’s mother and her best friend. Talk about pressure! I remember that he sat down for the entire concert–which had no intermission by the way–wearing his suit jacket. I thought that was odd. Ha. Ashley and I later agreed it was probably a choice he made while drunk on nerves. Understandable, and quite adorable if you ask me.

Over the next year Ashley and Freddy went on more dates. She started attending his Wednesday night football games and he started helping her study for tests–which I have done before, and let me tell you… I would take one of Freddy’s football games over helping Ashley study for a test any day! And then before you knew it they were inseparable and falling fast for each other.

FINALLY for one of their dates, he wisked her off to Catalina Island…where he then proposed and Ashley of course said YES!! Their wedding will be on February 29th, thats right folks… leap day! I am SO excited and proud to present their Beloved session shot by yours truly. Eeee! xoxo – Isaac.

P.S. It’s a long one but how could I resist? It’s my best friend! Enjoy… :-p

Pretty great, huh? Those two are fabulous and I too can’t wait for their wedding day.
