Michele is a dear friend of mine and someone I’ve blogged about many a time here on the trusty J. Shipley Blog. She’s just that cool and she’s just that important to me. Just over three years ago, she started an awesome coaching and consultation company called The Moxy Project. I designed her website and had a hand or two in getting her biz up and running. We had a blast-y-blast working together. We even did a photo shoot for the site that may or may not have involved her standing on my glass desk in her red heels. Ha. All that to get the now iconic Moxy header shot. It was totally worth it. But let me tell you…we’ve both come a long way since. So needless to say, it was about time we get together and update her photos. I’d learned a thing or two since, and I was dying to get her back in front of my camera to create a handful of images that were a bit more refined and sophisticated. I’ll admit I was a bit sloppy way back when, so I was thrilled to refresh them ,and of course, any time with Michele is coveted. So I’ll take all that I can get. 🙂

We met up at Alice Keck Park up in Santa Barbara and her two boys–“the Hobbits” as she calls them–tagged along and provided countless moments of laughter-inducing entertainment–which we both loved and needed–and let’s be honest, a fair amount of distractions as growing boys tend to do. But Michele was focused and determined nonetheless, and she brought her A-game. She’s remarkably skilled at multitasking and juggling 28 roles all at once. She can switch from mother to model in a heartbeat, and it’s one of the many reasons I adore and admire her. And of course, it resulted in her getting a host of bangin’ new images for her site all in less than an hour with plenty daylight to spare. Bam. That’s how it’s done. Special thanks to Andrea at Mishay for Michele’s beautiful hair and make-up.

And so without any further ado, I give you Michele Mollkoy in all her fabulous-ness.

If you want to learn how to lead your own life, be sure to check out The Moxy Project. Michele is the read deal and is one of the most insightful, authentic, brilliant and downright awesome people I know. Seriously.
